Overview

Dr. Osborn is the Director of Microbiology at Keck Medical Center of USC and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology at Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, California, USA. Dr. Osborn earned his PhD in Molecular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Medical and Public Health Microbiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Osborn’s research interests include applications of machine learning in clinical microbiology, reducing the turnaround time of infectious disease diagnostics, next generation sequencing, and diagnostic stewardship. Dr. Osborn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Microbiology.
