Overview

Dr. Ming Li is a Professor in the Division of Biostatistics of the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences starting January 2020. Dr. Li has extensive experience leading Cores to provide integrated state-of-the-art biostatistics and clinical research informatics support for cancer research spanning basic and translational science to clinical studies, and cancer etiology to cancer control. Dr. Li has served previously as the Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Core at Case Western Reserve University Comprehensive Cancer Center and now as the Director of the Data Science Core at the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. With more than 20 years of collaborative research with principal investigators in the cancer field, as primary statistician for numerous grants and projects, Dr. Li has played a key role in multiple aspects, including designing experiments, providing statistical expertise, analyzing data from complex design, supervising staff statisticians, interpreting results, drafting manuscripts, and writing statistical sections for grants.
