Overview

Neeraj Sharma, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist who practices both general nephrology and transplant nephrology. He is involved in all levels of medical education and teaches medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Sharma’s research interest focuses on management and treatment of kidney allograft reaction, strategies to increase access to transplantation, and strategies to improve long-term kidney allograft survival. After completing his undergraduate training at California State University of Northridge, Dr. Sharma earned his MD from American University of Caribbean. He then went on to complete residency in Internal Medicine at Bronx Care Hospital Center followed by a fellowship in general nephrology at Rutgers. He completed his transplant nephrology fellowship at Keck USC. He has been with USC since 2018.
