Overview

My primary clinical research interest is in emergency evaluation and treatment of stroke. Other research interests include imaging of stroke and transient ischemic attack as well as stroke prevention in the underserved. I am a Professor of Neurology (Clinical Scholar), and director of the Roxanna Todd Hodges Stroke Program at the University of Southern California. Administratively I serve as medical director of Stroke Centers at Los Angeles General Medical Center and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital as well as the Roxana Todd Hodges Comprehensive Stroke Clinic. I am board-certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in Neuroimaging through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.
