Keck School Faculty

Roxana Gates, MSW, LCSW is a clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings including medical, mental health, adoption, and geriatrics. She provides behavioral health services including mental health assessment, short-term therapy and consultation with primary care providers in a collaborative model. In addition, she provides clinical social work services as a team member of the interprofessional Geriatric Assessment Clinic of the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She has experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. She is bilingual and has used her bicultural experience and knowledge to strengthen her work with the Latino community, in particular with monolingual Spanish speakers. She is passionate about helping others and provides community service working with the homeless and underserved in local communities.
