Overview

Dr. Aziz is a dual board-certified psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, specializing in college mental health and transition-age youth. His clinical focus includes obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, major depression, and ADHD. He takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care, integrating medical, psychological, and cultural factors to provide comprehensive treatment.

Dr. Aziz’s primary practice location is on campus at USC, where he exclusively sees students. As a specialist in cultural psychiatry, he works extensively with international students and individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, addressing the unique intersections of mental health and identity. Fluent in both English and Farsi, he is dedicated to providing culturally responsive and inclusive psychiatric care.

Beyond his clinical and academic work, Dr. Aziz serves on the executive board of OCDSoCal, the local affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, advocating for greater awareness and access to OCD treatment.
