Overview

Tracy Nguyen, MPAP, PA-C, MSGM, MAT, is an Instructor of Clinical Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of USC. A native of Los Angeles, she pursued a career in medicine to work with patients to treat diseases, increase access to care, and reduce health disparities in her community. In practice, she forges partnerships with patients to create realistic and culturally appropriate treatment plans rooted in evidence-based medicine. She is passionate about empowering patients to take ownership of their health through education, small actions, and self-care.

PA Nguyen is a graduate of the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the KSOM Medicine of USC. She was heavily involved in the USC PA Pipeline Program, Graduate Student Government, and Asian Pacific Graduate Student Association where she was able to effect change at the local and university level through community education and advocacy. She trained in patient-centric team-based care with the Interprofessional Geriatrics Curriculum (IPGC) and Student-Run Clinic. She is NCCPA board certified and a member of both the Pi Alpha Honor Society and Order of Arête. She is also a member of the American Academy of PAs and California Academy of PAs.

She was a National Health Corps Scholar and worked predominantly with the medically underserved Latinx population in the San Fernando Valley. She also completed a TNT fellowship in Psychiatry for Primary Care Providers with UCI/UCD as well as a Palliative Care Certificate from the CSU Shiley Haynes Institute. These experiences add to her repertoire of practice in family medicine, pediatrics, gastroenterology, and urgent care to provide care for patients of all ages.
