Overview

Dr. Yi-Chun Chang is a psychologist with a strong interest in quantitative methods in addiction science. Dr. Chang’s research examines how substance use emerges, changes, and co-occurs with mental health symptoms from adolescence into young adulthood. This work spans both population-level trends and the affective, behavioral, and contextual processes that shape substance use. By integrating experimental, daily-life, longitudinal, and population-based methods, Dr. Chang aims to generate evidence that informs prevention, early intervention, and regulatory policy.
