About the Program

The USC Advanced Endoscopy program provides comprehensive training in advanced ERCP as well as endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic resection, fistula closure and all other facets of this field for 1-2 4th year fellows. There is also extensive opportunity to learn peroral myotomy (POEM), GPOEM, Z POEM, bariatric endoscopy, and endoscopic submucosal dissection from our team of seven advanced endoscopists at Keck/Norris Medical Centers of USC and the Los Angeles County Hospital+University of Southern California Medical Center.

We provides training in cutting-edge research techniques including advanced imaging (i.e. contrast EUS, spectroscopy), meta-analysis, and clinical trial design with a focus on topic pertaining to advanced endoscopy, gastrointestinal malignancy, and pancreatology.

How to Apply

The program participates in the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) M.atch. We start accepting applications through ASGE in Winter with interviews beginning in Spring
