About the Division

The General Internal Medicine (GIM) and Allergy & Immunology faculty treat more than 150 outpatients per day at our Health Science Campus location and in at our satellite locations around the city. The Division has built several strong programs that benefit our patients. It offers clinical programs that include Adult Medicine (Men’s, Women’s, and Senior Health), Perioperative Medicine, Allergy and Asthma, and Executive Health services. Same-day appointments are also available for urgent medical needs.

The USC Gehr Family Center for Health Systems Science and Innovation (Gehr Center) is also part of the Division. Their mission is to conduct research and train the next generation of clinical researchers to improve health care equity, quality, and outcomes in both local and national arenas. The Gehr Center serves as a research and educational bridge across many disciplines at USC and other institutions.

The Division of General Internal Medicine is comprised of faculty who take exemplary care of patients, educate future healthcare leaders, and contribute crucially to the health of our community. We continue to “Fight On” towards the best healthcare possible.
