cGMP Facility

With the final facility design completed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, initial construction took place in early 2021. Within a year, the facility was fully constructed and commissioned. Such an efficient and speedy process concurred with equipment purchase and other supporting laboratories completion. With new projects lining up, the facility became operational in 2023.

The facility operates the following equipment:

  • Dedicated ISO 5 biosafety cabinets
  • Incubators, centrifuges, plasma extractors, automatic cell counters, microscopes with high resolution cameras and balances.
  • Miltenyi CliniMACS equipment for positive or negative cell selection of hematopoietic stem cells, mesenchymal stromal cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, NK cells, B or T cells subsets.
  • Multiple Miltenyi Prodigy instruments that allow cell selection, transduction, cell expansion in a functionally closed system
  • Optima XE ultracentrifuge for viral vector production
  • Controlled rate freezer for cryopreservation of cells
  • LN2 tanks for cryostorage
