Overview

Dr. Jason Ye is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology at Keck School of Medicine of USC and serves as the Director of Clinical Operations of Radiation Oncology at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer. He joined USC in August 2016. Dr. Ye completed a seven-year accelerated liberal arts/medical (BA/MD) education from Boston University. He completed his medical doctorate degree, graduating cum laude and was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine – New York Presbyterian Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Ye has presented and published studies on topics regarding breast, lung, and central nervous system cancers.  He continues to lead various research and education efforts on these and other topics at USC and collaborates with experts around the U.S. and the world. In addition, Dr. Ye aims to enhance the education of practicing providers and improve the standard of care by actively participating within various national organizations such as the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American Board of Radiology (ABR), American Radium Society (ARS) etc.

Dr. Ye specializes in various advanced radiation treatment techniques, such as stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), biology guided radiation therapy (BGRT) intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), prone breast radiotherapy, surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT) as well as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) including the use of Gamma Knife. His expertise in these advanced treatments allows for safe and effective curative treatments in early-stage disease, as well as definitive treatments for oligometastatic/oligoprogressive disease in late-stage disease.
