Staff Complaint Process

Our complaint procedure is designed to achieve quick and effective resolutions to a variety of challenges that may arise in the workplace. While we encourage communication and conflict resolution between employees, if the matter cannot be resolved, please contact Human Resources for further assistance.

  • Office of Professionalism and Ethics
    Concerns regarding compliance with ethical standards or professional conduct
  • Office of the Ombuds
    Provides independent, confidential, and impartial support for our university community
  • Center for Work and Family Life
    Provides integrated services for employees and their families designed to support you throughout your work experience at USC
  • USC Staff Complaint Process
    Staff employees unable to resolve employment-related concerns after consultation with his/her manager and/or HR Partner, s/he may escalate the complaint under the Staff Complaint Process described in this policy
  • University Policies
    These policies have been established to create a safe and productive work and learning environment, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. If you are a faculty or staff employee, or a student, it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these policies and adhere to them
