Our Internal Medicine Residency Programs

The Department of Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is proud to now offer two Internal Medicine residency programs. In addition to our long-standing co-sponsored program with Los Angeles General Medical Center, we are excited to launch a new ACGME-approved Internal Medicine Residency Program based at Keck Hospital of USC, beginning in 2025.

Each program offers a distinct training environment, allowing residents to choose the path that best aligns with their clinical interests, learning style, and career goals.

Keck School of Medicine of USC Internal Medicine Residency Program

Launching in 2025, this new ACGME-approved residency program is based at Keck Hospital of USC and offers a rigorous academic training experience in a university-based setting. Residents benefit from a diverse patient population, cutting-edge research opportunities, and direct mentorship from world-renowned faculty at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

USC/LA General Internal Medicine Residency Program

A long-standing, co-sponsored program between the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center, this residency offers comprehensive training in a large, safety-net hospital environment. Residents are immersed in high-volume, high-acuity care and graduate well-prepared to lead in primary care, hospital medicine, and a wide range of subspecialties.
