Regional Anesthesiology Fellowship

The Department of Anesthesiology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and LAC+USC Medical Center offers a one-year Regional Anesthesiology Fellowship.

During the 12-month training period, fellows in regional anesthesia will become proficient in all forms of peripheral and neuraxial anesthetic techniques both single injections as well as continuous catheters.  They will be responsible for the complete management of these patients, assist in training of residents and become proficient in both nerve stimulation and ultrasound-guided blocks.  Our program also provides experience in the Keck Medical Center of USC and ambulatory surgery center environments as well as at LAC+USC Medical Center.

This program adheres to the Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship Directors Group’s “Collaborative Decision Date Agreement”. This agreement mandates that no candidate will be required to accept or decline an offer from any participating Fellowship Program prior to the first weekday in September of the year the offer was made. The participating programs hope that this initiative will improve the application process for candidates. For more information, see guidelines for regional anesthesia training on the ASRA site.
