Jakub Hlávka, PhD, adjunct clinical associate professor of population and public health sciences, joins the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences.

Hlávka has research interests in Alzheimer’s disease and the economics of aging; innovative payment models for emerging therapies, including cell and gene therapies in oncology, neurology and cardiovascular disease; health system reform and the study of inequality; and resilience and preparedness for public health emergencies.
