The USC Comprehensive Aortic Center provides the most advanced care for all types of aortic diseases such as aneurysm, dissection and genetic disorders. Our quick-response program is designed to provide emergency transport to our facility for patients with aortic emergencies.

USC Digestive Health Center
A recognized leader in the care of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases, the USC Digestive Health Center provides comprehensive and innovative medical and surgical treatment options, as well as state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies. Patients are evaluated by a highly specialized team who works in collaboration with our nationally recognized GI and medical oncology specialists.

USC Transplantation Institute
Our renowned team of experts provides patients with a comprehensive approach to care. Physicians specialize in a variety of transplantation procedures and are involved in all aspects of treatment, from the pre-evaluation to surgery and into the post-surgery phase of the procedure. Each and every one of our transplantation programs are part of the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS), which allows us to offer patients the best opportunity to receive new organs.
Surgical Critical Care Program and Acute Care Surgery Service

Los Angeles General Medical Center is a level 1 American College of Surgeons-approved Trauma Center and is one of the largest and busiest centers in the United States with over 4,500 trauma alone cases per year. In addition, we are located in the center of one of the largest and busiest metropolis in the United States, which brings in a large volume of those who require emergent surgical attention.
