Simulation Lab

The Anesthesiology Department of the Keck School of Medicine of USC is proud of its new Simulation and Task Trainer Labs that was officially established 2023.

Featuring a high fidelity mannikin, POCUS simulator and multiple task trainers. The Simulation Program curriculum began in 2009 which prepares anesthesiology students for anesthesia emergencies while teaching Crisis Resource Management Skills and education on Cognitive Errors.  Our faculty is trained in Debriefing and has continued to expand.

Our Simulation Curriculum consists of many courses:

  • Medical Student Workshops:  Central line and Intubation
  • CA1 Bootcamp
  • Pocus Workshops
  • Anesthesia Clinical Cases I
  • Advanced Anesthesia Clinical Cases II
