Mission

The mission of the Women’s WELLNESS IRG is to empower all through wellness, by providing resources, solutions, and opportunities for all our KSOM individuals, families, communities, and institution, by highlighting wellness issues that may disproportionately impact women.

Objectives

Objectives

The objectives of the Women’s IRG are as follows:

1. Leadership through networking, mentoring, and advancement opportunities

2. Listening through yearly sessions and anonymous polling

3. Nurture through workshops directed by the members, wellness sessions, and educational panels

4. Promoting non-discrimination and equal opportunity, including pay equity and parental and caregiver support.

5. Support by connecting with other IRGs, sharing resources, providing one-on-one’s, and ensuring family-friendly events

6. Safety provided with emotional & psychological safety in the workplace, self-defense, risk prevention for all (domestic violence, sexual assault, work harassment)
