Neurology Residency Programs

The Department of Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is proud to offer two neurology residency programs. In addition to our long-standing co-sponsored program with Los Angeles General Medical Center, we are excited to launch a new ACGME-approved Neurology Residency Program based at Keck Hospital of USC and USC Arcadia Hospital, welcoming its first class in 2027.

Each program offers a distinct training environment, allowing residents to choose the path that best aligns with their clinical interests, learning style, and career goals.

Neurology Residency

Keck School of Medicine of USC Neurology Residency Program

New in 2027, this ACGME-approved residency program is based at Keck Hospital of USC and USC Arcadia Hospital. The four-year categorical program combines community-based inpatient training at Arcadia with tertiary and quaternary care at Keck, alongside a rich outpatient subspecialty clinic experience. Residents benefit from direct mentorship from nationally recognized faculty and access to the full breadth of USC’s research and academic resources.

Neurology Residency

USC/Los Angeles General Medical Center Neurology Residency Program

A long-standing co-sponsored program between the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center, this residency offers comprehensive training at the largest safety-net hospital in Los Angeles alongside Keck Hospital of USC. Residents train across one of the most socioeconomically and clinically diverse patient populations in the country and graduate prepared to lead in academic medicine, community care, and across the full range of neurology subspecialties.
