New Faculty: April Shu, PhD

April Shu, PhD, assistant professor of population and public health sciences, joins the Division of Epidemiology and Genetics in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences.

Shu’s research mission is to discover genetic etiology and epidemiology of mental and behavior disorders and translate findings to clinical settings to improve the diagnosis and personalized treatment. She is excited to collaborate with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on translational research to help improve patient care.
