Recruitment Visit

Domestic Applicants

Once we advance your application for acceptance, we invite you to campus for an interview and cover your travel, lodging, and most meals. 

Your visit opens with an informal welcome dinner with current students on Wednesday evening, followed by a Thursday morning breakfast, a program overview, one-on-one interviews with faculty and admissions committee members, a faculty luncheon, and a campus and lab tour. 

Current PIBBS students host a social event downtown on Thursday evening, then lead a Friday poster session and panel so you can hear directly about their experience. 

We recommend business casual attire, comfortable flat shoes, and layers for changing weather.

International Applicants

If you live outside the continental United States, a member of our admissions committee interviews you by phone or video. We will contact you by email no later than the first week of March if your application advances to this stage. 

Please note: If you are an international student but living in the continental United States at the time of the application process, you will be considered for interview purposes only, as a domestic applicant.
