Interpreting CT, MRI, XR and ultrasound for the torso, our abdominal and cardiothoracic radiologists collaborate with cardiologists, gynecologists, oncologists, urologists and more to offer highly individualized care.

Our renowned radiologists interpret 2D and 3D mammography, ultrasound and MRI, as well as perform interventional procedures. Collaborating with surgeons, oncologists and pathologists yields a multidisciplinary, personalized treatment approach.

At L.A. General’s Level 1 Trauma Center, our highly trained radiologists interpret CT, ultrasound, XR and MRI modalities and work closely with colleagues in emergency medicine and acute care surgery to offer expedient turnaround in an urgent environment.

Our expert radiologists interpret CT, MRI and XR, and offer interventional procedures treating the musculoskeletal system. They work closely with numerous specialties, coordinate care with referring physicians and collaborate avidly on research.

Our faculty are considered experts in neurologic imaging. Services include CT, MRI and XR scans of the head, neck or spine and interventional and pain-management procedures, and collaboration with neurologists and other specialists.

Our nationally recognized Nuclear Medicine division has hundreds of peer-reviewed publications and tens of thousands of research citations. Our team interprets planar, PET/CT, and SPECT imaging and performs more than 200 radiopharmaceutical treatments annually.

Collaborating widely, our expert interventionalists perform image-guided procedures using CT, fluoroscopy and ultrasound. These minimally invasive procedures often reduce surgical complications and lengthy recovery times.
