Our Body Imaging and Intervention fellowship provides comprehensive supervised training in advanced abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound interpretation and interventional procedures of the torso. Fellows train at Los Angeles General Medical Center and Keck Hospital of USC, gaining exposure to high-volume safety-net and quaternary referral settings.

Our Breast Imaging fellowship trains fellows in the full range of breast imaging modalities: screening and diagnostic digital mammography, digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as interventional procedures. Fellows train at the Lee Breast Center at Norris Healthcare Center 3, which opened in March 2018 and features three dedicated digital breast tomosynthesis units, two ultrasound machines, and an upright tomosynthesis and stereotactic biopsy device.

The Breast and Body Fellowship divides training equally between advanced body imaging and breast imaging through monthly rotations. Fellows gain expertise in CT, MRI, and ultrasound for abdominal and thoracic pathology alongside the full range of breast imaging modalities offered at the Lee Breast Center at Norris Healthcare Center 3.

Our Cardiothoracic Imaging and Intervention fellowship provides advanced training in pulmonary and cardiac imaging and thoracic interventional procedures. Fellows develop expertise across CT, MRI, and radiographic modalities in both oncologic and non-oncologic thoracic disease, training at Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Our Emergency and Trauma Radiology fellowship trains fellows in poly-trauma and acute care imaging at Los Angeles General Medical Center, one of the country’s largest Level-I Trauma Centers. The fellowship provides dedicated training in neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, and body imaging within the context of emergency and trauma presentations.

Our Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship is a comprehensive one-year program covering CT, MRI, and radiographic interpretation and interventional procedures of the musculoskeletal system. Fellows work closely with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and oncologists across the Keck Medicine of USC network.

Our ACGME-approved Neuroradiology fellowship provides in-depth training in brain, spine, and head and neck pathology in pediatric and adult patients. Fellows interpret CT, MRI, and radiographic studies and observe common neurointerventional procedures including cerebral angiography. Training occurs at Keck Hospital of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center, providing exposure to both oncologic neuroimaging and high-volume trauma neuroimaging.

Our 12-month Nuclear Medicine fellowship provides advanced training in all aspects of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in outpatient and inpatient settings, including radionuclide therapy. Fellows work with our nationally recognized Nuclear Medicine division, which has hundreds of peer-reviewed publications and performs more than 200 radiopharmaceutical treatments annually. Training at the USC Molecular Imaging Center provides exposure to radiotracer development and molecular imaging research.

Our Nuclear Medicine PET/CT fellowship is a one-year program providing broad clinical training in all aspects of positron emission tomography and cross-sectional CT, including 18F-FDG PET/CT, cardiac PET, and advanced oncologic and neurologic applications. Fellows work with faculty from our Nuclear Medicine division and the USC Molecular Imaging Center.

Our ACGME-approved Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship provides comprehensive supervised training in the evaluation and management of patients requiring image-guided VIR procedures. The fellowship covers the full range of techniques including embolization, portal hypertension management, interventional oncology, and complex venous disease. Fellows train at Keck Hospital of USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center.
