Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Fellowship
Overview
USC EMS fellowship is a 1 year fully accredited ACGME program. It gives you the opportunity to work with:
- Busiest Emergency Department in California
- Largest Trauma Center in LA County
- Busiest Base Station in LA County
- Collaborate with multiple local EMS providers
- Emergency Medicine Residents, Education, and Research
Expectations include:
- Operations
- Ride-alongs
- Dispatch Center quality improvement
- Exposure to USART, HAZMAT and HERT
- Participation in large event planning and execution
- Administration and Teaching
- Base Station Tape Review
- EMS resident rotation education and guidance
- Emergency Department Grand Rounds
- ACGME/ABEM requirements
- Core curriculum
- Research project
- Emergency Medicine board certification
- Emergency Department clinical shifts
Length: 1 year, ACGME-Accredited
