Overview

USC EMS fellowship is a 1 year fully accredited ACGME program. It gives you the opportunity to work with:

  1. Busiest Emergency Department in California
  2. Largest Trauma Center in LA County
  3. Busiest Base Station in LA County
  4. Collaborate with multiple local EMS providers
  5. Emergency Medicine Residents, Education, and Research

Expectations include:

  1. Operations
    • Ride-alongs
    • Dispatch Center quality improvement
    • Exposure to USART, HAZMAT and HERT
    • Participation in large event planning and execution
  2. Administration and Teaching
    • Base Station Tape Review
    • EMS resident rotation education and guidance
    • Emergency Department Grand Rounds
  3. ACGME/ABEM requirements
    • Core curriculum
    • Research project
    • Emergency Medicine board certification
    • Emergency Department clinical shifts

Length: 1 year, ACGME-Accredited
