Introducing BDIR Workshops!

We invite faculty and postdocs to participate in our BDIR (Business Development and Industry Relations) workshops—an invaluable opportunity to learn how to build and sustain productive university-industry relationships. Whether you’re new to industry collaborations, already have a company interested in your research, or seek to deepen existing partnerships, these workshops provide the tools and knowledge to navigate this complex yet rewarding domain.

Our BDIR workshops are designed to guide faculty and postdocs through the ever-evolving landscape of university-industry engagement. These sessions provide valuable insights and strategies for fostering successful collaborations that drive innovation and create a meaningful impact.

Workshop Focus: Understanding & Developing Pathways for Engagement

The BDIR workshops explore the diverse and evolving nature of university-industry partnerships. Our aim is to:

  • Illuminate the Spectrum of Partnership Possibilities: Discover the wide range of collaboration opportunities between universities and companies. We’ll provide an overview of potential pathways for engagement.
  • Address Objectives and Constraints: Receive guidance on how to align interests and navigate challenges effectively. We recognize that every partnership is shaped by the unique objectives and constraints of both parties.
  • Co-Creating Success with You: Share your research interests, and we will collaborate with you to develop tailored strategies that maximize the potential of your industry partnerships. Together, we’ll create actionable and visionary paths forward.

Ongoing Support: MESH Strategic Partnership Team

Beyond Workshops: The MESH team provides continuous support long after the workshops. We ensure that you have the resources, guidance, and expertise needed to succeed in your industry collaborations.
