  • We help establish long-term, multifaceted collaborations designed for success. These partnerships may include multiple research projects, technology development and commercialization, workforce development, and shared resources.

  • The MESH team provides high-touch services to help faculty establish industry collaborations across the research continuum (basic, translational, and clinical). We also work closely with intnernal offices such as Contracts and GrantsClinical Trials Office, Procurement, General Counsel, Keck Foundation Relations to ensure seamless execution of agreements and projects.

  • The MESH team serves as a liaison between faculty, industry, and the USC Clinical Trials Office (CTO) and Clinical Investigation Support Office (CISO) helping build relationships, source new opportunities, and enable strategic partnerships that drive clinical trials forward.

  • We collaborate with the USC Stevens Center for Innovation, the technology transfer office that manages the commercialization of  USC’s intellectual property. USC Stevens is housed centrally inside the USC Research and Innovation office and is responsible for negotiating agreements related to intellectual property and maintaining a database for technologies, copyright, software, and research reagents/tools available for licensing.
