    Note: Of the 36 weeks of Selectives and Electives combined, a minimum of 22 weeks must be devoted to clinical rotations. Most rotations offered fulfill this requirement. Examples of rotations that are not clinical courses include, but are not limited to, Clinical Informatics, Health Policy and Economics, Narrative Medicine, and Research.     Students must pass USMLE Step 1 and Step 2CK and the Clinical Performance Examination.

    • Presentation at MSRF

    Post-Clerkship Phase:

    • Transition to Residency
    • Internal Medicine Sub-Internship
    • Senior Seminar

    Electives and Selectives (May be taken in clerkship or post-clerkship phase)

    • 16 weeks Selectives
    • 32 weeks of Electives

    Note: Of the 48 weeks of Selectives and Electives combined, a minimum of 36 weeks must be devoted to clinical rotations. Most rotations offered fulfill this requirement. Examples of rotations that are not clinical courses include, but are not limited to, Digital Medicine, Point of Care Ultrasound, and Research.

    A maximum of 12 weeks of away rotations or similar rotations within KSOM  course catalogue can be taken for graduation credit.

    Students must complete the requirements for the Scholarly Project.
